Mahakumbh 2025: Under the ‘One Bag and One Plate Campaign’ of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, canvas bags, paper plates, and bamboo bowls which are reusable, are being distributed to the tourists and devotees visiting the biggest Hindu fair.
Mahakumbh 2025: While Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 will be remembered in history for the world’s highest religious gathering, this year’s spiritual confluence will also be remembered for sensitivity towards the environment. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has started this innovative initiative with the message of practical awareness towards the environment in Sangam city.
For awareness against plastic
Under this unique initiative, Sangh workers have landed in the Kumbh Mela area with the ‘Bag and Thali Abhiyan’ and are taking steps towards reducing the use of plastic by distributing eco-friendly (environment friendly) materials and spreading awareness about cleanliness.
