Kerala Nurse Nimisha Priya Death Sentense: There is a district in Kerala named Palakkad. A nurse lived in Kollengode of this district many years ago. This nurse named Nimisha Priya went to Yemen in 2008 to work to help her labourer parents. Nimisha worked in many hospitals there and finally decided to open her own clinic.
Six years after coming to Yemen, Priya came in contact with Talal Abdo Mahdi in 2014. This Yemeni man falsely promised to help Nimisha in starting her clinic. Since legally a foreigner needs a partnership to start his own business in this country, it is mandatory to make a local person a partner. Nimisha’s partnership with Talal started but soon ended due to differences between them.
In 2015, Priya started her clinic for which she made Abdo Mahdi her partner but after a few months, she removed him and started running her clinic without him. Angered by this, he started threatening Priya. After that, he deceived Nimisha and took her passport so that she could not leave Yemen and go back.
When Priya repeatedly asked him for his passport, Abdo started threatening her instead of returning it. Priya was forced to file a complaint against him. Then the police arrested Abdo in 2016. But he was released after some time.
Three years passed due to the dispute between Nimisha and Abdo and in 2017, during this dispute, Priya gave an injection of anesthesia to Abdo on some pretext to get her passport back. By mistake, there was an overdose of anesthesia in the injection due to which Abdo died. After a year-long investigation, Priya was found guilty of this murder and the court awarded her the death penalty.
