Usually only Button Mushrooms are available in the market and people want to cultivate them, but on the other hand, the Oyster Mushrooms have their own specialty.
Keeping this in mind, Rajesh Singh thought of a way by which people can get fresh mushrooms at their place itself. Oyster Mushroom is grown in polythene bags. But from selling to preserving, many arrangements have to be made during its cultivation. In such a situation, Rajesh Singh’s idea of growing mushrooms in a bucket proved to be very handy.

Starting mushroom cultivation with hundred bags, today he has started producing up to 100 tons of mushrooms. Now his annual turnover from this home-farming work has reached two crore rupees per annum.
Production starts within a week
Rajesh Singh is providing ready-to-grow bucket mushrooms to farmers for Rs 500 on his company’s platform. Mushrooms start growing in it in a minimum of 7 days to a maximum of 10 days time. Like a gas cylinder, farmers can also get it refilled. As soon as the production of mushrooms ends, you can again produce mushrooms in a bucket by paying Rs 250.
Rajesh Singh also gives training to farmers and many self-help groups about mushroom production. The mushrooms of his unit are being sold all over Bihar and are being sent outside too to the states like Jharkhand and Delhi.
